I arrived at painting and pottery later in life.  My career has been as a bodyworker and teacher where I have loved using my mind and my hands to connect to others, creating new programs and practices  that previously did not previously exist. 

 

Once Covid reduced my travel and teaching schedule, I turned that creative impulse toward painting and pottery. 

It has been liberating to allow myself to approach the canvas and the wheel with a beginner's mind. 

 

I gather much of my inspiration from personal experiences, the environment and nature all around me here in the Pacific Northwest.

 

I create art primarily for myself and am happy to share it with others.  Expressing myself thru intuitive painting and throwing helps me to connect to parts of me that love to be creative, playful, and expansive.
